FullContact Buys Out Brewster to Expand Its Product Offerings

DENVER, CO: In order to expand its products and offerings alongside gluing its position as a market leader in 360-degree, unified contact management category, FullContact announced the acquisition of its rival company Brewster. With the acquisition, the users of Brewster have the choice of shifting to Full Contact’s wide range of user applications on iOS, Android, Gmail and Web.

“Becoming the world's contact management platform is a huge undertaking and requires many years, if not decades, to achieve,” said Bart Lorang, FullContact co-founder and CEO. “With this acquisition, we're one step closer to achieving this vision.

It is pertinent to mention, FullContact already provides support for two- way sync between the iCloud and multiple Gmail accounts and will be extending its support to Microsoft 365 Office and Microsoft Exchange April onwards. According to FullContact, the acquisition will have an edge for the company to rope in some of the Brewster’s technology for its current product development efforts—including a self updating address book hitched with the idea of a verified personal identity.

Taking into consideration, the current users of Brewster would not be transferred automatically; rather they will have to shift their own accounts. The users will be provided with an option of signing up for a free three-month trial of Full Contact premium account where Brewster Premium account holders could continue using it as well with no extra costs or join in for a free FullContact account.
