Gartner Recognizes Appian as Leader in Magic Quadrant for Intelligent BPM Suites 2015 Report
FREMONT, CA: Gartner places Appian in the Leaders Quadrant in its Magic Quadrant for Intelligent Business Process Management (iBPM) Suites 2015 Report. iBPM is an extension of BPM fueled by technology to enable businesses achieve their goals in a speedy manner.
Gartner Magic Quadrant is the company’s research report in a specific market that provides information about the relative positions of the market’s competitors. Classification of the competitors in a particular market is based on graphical treatment and a uniform set of evaluation criteria. By saying ‘Leaders’, it means that a business is ‘executing well against its current vision and is well positioned for tomorrow.’
Gartner considers iBPM as the natural evolution of the earlier BPMS market, adding more emphasis on support for greater system and human intelligence within business processes.
Appian provides application platform for business process management (BPM) and case management solutions. “Appian is focused on helping our customers broaden their awareness of what is happening right now within their organization, markets and customers, and accelerate the translation of that awareness into action and business outcomes. We are pleased to be recognized as a Leader,” said Matthew Calkins, president and CEO at Appian.
