IRVINE, CA: Paragon Software Group recently announced its Universal File System Driver (UFSD) technology has been selected by FixMeStick–makers of virus detection and removal product to boost the interoperability and performance for virus removal device.

The agreement calls for Paragon Software Group—a software developer, to embed its Paragon HFS+ (Mac) for Linux and NTFS (Windows) for Linux solutions, into the virus removal device, to remove inevitable infections. It also gives another layer of data protection, connectivity, and cross-platform support for the FixMeStick’s product line.

The embedded Paragon drivers feature state-of-the-art Linux utility for better file system integrity. Paragon’s UFSD technology supports Linux, Android, iOS, QNX and other platforms, and equips the anti-virus software with a system independent file system driver to detect and neutralize any type of viruses as well as attain full and secure access to any file system. The paragon tool also delivers high-performance read-write accesses to various file systems under various operating systems, making it possible to process unsupported partitions–while maintaining an impressive level of performance and secure file sharing.

The embedded consumer-ready FixMeStick is sold through Home Shopping Network and other major retailers. “Paragon’s ‘set it forget it’ approach ensures best practices in information security—such that all data, whether on a server, is available secure, so businesses can focus on the kaleidoscope of other issues spinning on organization’s plates,” says Tom Fedro, President, Paragon Software Group Corp. “By equipping the device with rapid, transparent and full read/write access to non-native file systems to expand its value and usability, we are proud to help fuel the innovation that FixMeStick delivers to customers worldwide.”
