MONTREAL, CA: In order to dramatically ease the challenges professionals face daily, new version 3.0.0 of ScanProof, an intelligent print inspection solution has been rolled out into the market. Created by GlobalVision, which designs and delivers Ingenious Proofreading Technologies by integrating into the packaging workflows to variety of industries has added enhancements that includes — Artwork, Barcode and Braille Unified QC; Intelligent Proofreading; and unique Braille Module.

The regulated industries such as the pharmaceutical, medical device and CPG sectors demands 100 percent accuracy in everything. In this context, Reuben Malz, President of Global Vision states, “The new improvements within ScanProof 3.0.0 enable users to precisely inspect all printed components with confidence, ensuring that no errors exist between the approved artwork and print.”

By applying logic to different elements of artwork, that is text, artwork, barcode, Braille, background and dielines, Intelligent Proofreading aspect helps eliminate false positives by more than 50 percent.

Whereas Artwork, Barcode and Braille QC aspect would focus on directly integrating the Braille and Barcode verifications within inspections to improve productivity and save time.

The innovative Braille module supports 42 Braille languages, compares and translates digital Braille PDF files, as well as, displays the number of dots, number of letters, number of lines, dot horizontal spacing, dot vertical spacing and other related parameters.

The solution possesses certain functionalities to ease the workflow such as: ability to inspect multiple Master and/or Sample files and generate a combined inspection report; inspecting a master vs. gang-print runs; a forced review of all differences between artwork copy and print copy; support for grading of MSI codes; setting a default path for file opening and report saving; booklet inspection; a way to adjust the brightness, contrast and gamma of the Master and/or Sample image; ability to manually set the inspection status(Pass/Fail) prior to generating report; and adding custom Nextimage scanner setups.
