SEATTLE, WA: Glympse, a real-time location sharing Technology Company offering person-to-person time-based location sharing technology has announced new upgrades to Ford's all-new communications and entertainment system, Ford SYNC 3 to offer an improved and enhanced AppLink experience.

AppLink is a standard feature of SYNC 3 that projects the smartphone app's information onto the dashboard display and provides a choice of voice recognition, touch screen or steering wheel buttons for control of the app.

The new SYNC 3 with AppLink system will be made available on 2016 models of the Ford Escape and Fiestaand will soon be made available to the rest of Ford's North American vehicle line-up.

Inorder to make use of Glympse on Ford, an app needs to be installed by the drivers on their iOS or android devices and the car with SYNC 3 automatically recognizes the app using the AppLink technology. Its enhanced version enables the drivers to send, add time or expire the Glympse using intuitive touchand they can receive notifications when the glimpse is viewed making the driver concentrate on his driving, without being diverted.
