Google's enterprise edition Dialogflow has become a default for all new agents
Chatbot has become a new way to reduce friction in websites and applications that can give customers rapid answers to frequently asked questions in a conversational fashion. Google recently announced that its Dialogflow, which was previously available only on beta, is being made generally available for enterprises. They got this technology in 2016 via the API.AI acquisition. Google decided to change the name of the tool and gave it a moniker that closely matched with the actual functioning of the tool. It is reported that thousands of enterprises are now using the tool to build conversational interfaces.
The tool works across voice interface platforms such as Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant, and Facebook Messenger. This gives developers a tool with the help of which they can develop their chat applications and then use them across several devices without having to change the underlying code.
With this release, the company is also providing increased functionality and is making it easy to transition to the enterprise edition. It is helping enterprises in combining batch operations that would have required multiple API calls into one single call. Integrating with Google Cloud Speech to Text, Dialogflow API eases agent management and provides an easy transition to Enterprise Edition and also doesn't require any code migration.
