Hansen Medical's Sensei Robotic System to Be Exhibited at HRS
MOUNTAIN VIEW, CA: Hansen Medical, intravascular robotics technology provider, will be exhibiting Sensei X2 Robotic System at the Heart Rhythm Society's (HRS) Annual Scientific Sessions to be held from May 13 - 15 at the Boston Convention & Exhibition Center in Boston, Massachusetts.
The Sensei X2 Robotic System is an advanced technology used during electrophysiology procedures to remotely navigate a robotic catheter in the heart atria. It helps in controlling catheters and accessories facilitates manipulation, positioning and control of Hansen Medical's robotically steerable catheters for collecting electrophysiological data within the heart atria with electro-anatomic mapping and recording systems, using specified percutaneous mapping catheters.
Sensei X2 Robotic System displays advanced levels of 3D catheter control and 3D visualization and has unique features like faster processing, enhanced image integration and a slimmer design.
The technology powered by a robotically controlled arm that allows for catheter navigation, stability and positioning within the patient's heart atria has already been used in over 14,000 patients.
