Hardin Implements BasisCode Software for Hassle-free Compliance Management
FREMONT, CA: Hardin Compliance Consulting, a full-service compliance consulting company has incorporated BasisCode Compliance software to uplift the functionality of compliance management. The new BasisCode compliance software is specifically designed for law firms, compliance consultants, fund administrators, auditors, accountants and other intermediaries dealing with compliance management.
"Previously, like many consultants, we relied on manual processes and spreadsheets, but we have found the BasisCode Compliance software does a better job helping us aggregate and manage compliance data across our varied clients," said Jaqueline Hummel, Managing Director, Hardin Compliance.
The Consultant’s compliance management processes are currently facing regulatory problems. The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) reported a risk alert based on examinations of the advisers involved in outsourcing the chief compliance officers (CCO). SEC also revealed that registrants relied on an outsourced CCO that served a large number of unaffiliated companies without sufficient resources. The new Compliance software is designed to assist consultants to manage multiple compliance programs more effectively while documenting, controlling and testing the client’s procedures and policies.
Titan Regulation, provider of regulatory consulting services for CFTC, SEC, FINRA and exchange regulated financial services organizations has also preferred BasisCode, enhancing compliance processing across their clients in Chicago.
BasisCode Compliance offers a wide range of integrated software solutions aiming to boost compliance management for investment advisors, broker/dealers, consultants, insurance companies, asset managers and other service providers.
Hardin Compliance provides a business oriented set of services such as Registered Investment Advisers, Private Equity Funds/Hedge Funds, Broker-Dealers, Fiduciary Assessments, Compliance Navigator and CEFEX Certifications. The company’s expert consulting team consists of senior compliance managers, former in-house securities attorneys, senior audit professionals and compliance professionals from renowned financial institutions.
"We think consultants will soon come to see software as a strategic and differentiating source of added value when offering their services to clients and prospects," said Carlos Guillen, President and CEO, BasisCode Compliance.
