Harte Hanks Evolves its Big Data Strategy by Adopting Apache Hadoop with the MapR Platform
San Jose, CA: Harte Hanks, a leader in developing customer relationships, experiences and defining interaction led marketing, and MapR Technologies, Inc., provider of the top-ranked distribution for Apache Hadoop, today announced Harte Hanks is using the MapR Distribution including Hadoop to evolve Harte Hanks’ big data solutions. By adopting the MapR data platform, Harte Hanks enhances the performance, scalability and flexibility of its solutions, enabling its clients to more easily and quickly migrate, analyze and store massive quantities of data.
Used by customers across industries, including large retail, ad media, technology and financial services clients, the MapR data platform provides Harte Hanks with sophisticated data analysis and refinery capabilities. Additionally, Apache Drill is used to quickly analyze structured and semi-structured data to shorten the time to value from data. Harte Hanks is also integrating MapR and Splice Machine to seamlessly migrate customers’ traditional databases as they grow.
