HealthVerity Raises $25 Million in Series C Funding to Accelerate Growth
The emergence of various data protection laws like the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) has compelled healthcare companies to reconsider their data management and consumer data and consent permissions. Though the search for the right data management solution seems arduous, it ends at HealthVerity. Uniquely positioned as a leader in data preserving-privacy management, HealthVerity’s platform allows healthcare companies to make critical decisions by enabling them to rapidly create, exchange, and manage healthcare and consumer data in a fully-interoperable, privacy-protecting manner.
HealthVerity has not only simplified data management but also won the trust of investors. In the latest development, HealthVerity has bagged $25 million in series C funding to support continued growth and investment in its technology platform and go-to-market activities. Existing investor Foresite Capital leads the investment with participation from Flare Capital Partners, Greycroft Partners, and other investors.
What we are trying to do with our solutions is to help audit the fragmented systems, create a single source of truth for consumer consent, and leverage the immutability of blockchain
The recent investment was bolstered by HealthVerity’s performance in 2018 during which the company expanded its customer base that now includes more than 100 of the top pharma manufacturers, health insurance payers, and healthcare service providers. Andrew Kress, co-founder and CEO at HealthVerity says, “We have been recognized as an industry leader and are fortunate to have strong investors to support our long-term objectives.” He further adds, “We are also pleased by the trust our customers have demonstrated in our solutions and the positive impact that broad interoperability across our world-class ecosystem of data partners has meant for these same customers. HealthVerity is now uniquely equipped to deploy software solutions that more efficiently manage and govern data in accordance with an ever-changing regulatory environment, but that is exactly the reason that top Pharma and Payers are gravitating to our platform.”
