FREMONT, CA: In order to provide developers with more practical approach, the Holberton School has introduced a new project based approach to train developers in a full stack of Web application development technologies. Sean Michael Kerner from eWEEK writes that the goal of the school is to help fill a need that is painfully apparent in the technology world.

Instead of undergoing the strenuous process of attaining a university computer science degree the Holberton School lays stress on hands on practice than theory, explains Kerner.

"The idea is that everything is project-centered, so instead of having hours of theory, you just give students a project," says Julien Barbier, CEO and Co-founder, Holberton School, in an interview with eWEEK. "The students will then learn the theory they need in order to accomplish the given project."

Kerner informs that Holberton will be providing its students with an innovative form of certification which will be validated by the same blockchain technology used in the Bitcoin cryptocurrency.
