HP Announces Host of Products to Support VMware Environment
SAN FRANCISCO, CA: HP announces new solutions to assist businesses take advantage of their VMware environments through faster time to implementation and greater return on investment. The latest solutions are optimized for VMware vSphere, including new-hyper converged and all-flash storage systems.
Accelerating Network Virtualization Adoption
HP and VMware collaborate to bring global sales, support and go-to-market agreement for the VMware NSX network virtualization platform for customers to accelerate the deployment of new high-performing applications, simplify data center fabric and operations and improve security. The latest agreement includes end-to-end network virtualization consulting and supporting capabilities.
Virtual Desktop Solutions
HP is adding more flexibility and choices of end-user computing solutions with VMware Horizon 6.1 and NVIDIA GRID to offer highest density graphics virtualization options. HP OneView powered systems will facilitate customers a single management interface optimized for VDI (Virtual Desktop Infrastructure) use cases. These solutions providevariable, full lifecycle support options and open interoperability with third party top-of-rack networking switches and hypervisors from leading vendors.
A leap into Hybrid Infrastructure
HP is extending its Converged Architecture partner program with the new Converged Architecture 700 (CA700). Built on HP BladeSystem, HP OneView and integrations with VMware vSphere and VMware vRealize Operations, the CA700 is ideal for private clouds and enabling mobile workforce and mixed workloads. Users may have the infrastructure as a single integrated stack built and delivered by their choice of certified channel partner.
With CA700, VMware administrators can now manage the entire stack as one. From the vSphere console, VMware administrators can deploy and expand clusters and perform day-to-day operations across the entire stack.
Support and Consulting Services for VMware
HP has introduced new services for VMware that enable organizations to adapt better to the changing business dynamics while delivering a stable and secure environment. The announcements include HP Software-defined Compute Accelerator for VMware; HP Software-defined Compute Implementation Service; HP client Virtualization services; HP Network Virtualization services and HP education services for VMware.
