PALO ALTO, CA: Avon Products, a beauty company, selects HPE to operate on Avon’s global IT infrastructure in four areas by offering dedicated data center services, cross functional support, network management and security services.

A hybrid infrastructure combines traditional IT, private, managed and public clouds to empower the workloads of enterprises. Therefore, a hybrid strategy is required to compile physical and virtual environments in an open and agile platform that optimizes critical systems running the business and create suitable environments for mobile and cloud native applications. HPE enables enterprises to deploy and manage private clouds efficiently with its various platforms such as HPE Helion private cloud and HPE Synergy.

Under the agreement, Avon will standardize its IT processes that power a hybrid infrastructure using HPE’s integrated framework and offer high quality service delivery aligning to established global standards. Avon will also establish a Security Operation Center at HPE’s global delivery center. Additionally, to utilize the self service tools, remote support and data analytics enhancing end user experience, Avon will set up a Global Service Desk.

Further, Avon will incorporate HPE’s tools to monitor and automate distributed server management services like HPE Operations Manager, HPE Operations Orchestration and HPE Server Automation. To boost monitoring and automation services, Avon will leverage HPE’s Global Network Operating Center to provide network data services.

"To fully support the needs of our Representatives and her customers, our IT infrastructure needs to operate with agility. We believe that HPE is the right global partner to help us to deliver the best experience for our end-users today and in the future. This partnership also allows us to accelerate our growth strategy in areas like digital where having a solid IT infrastructure is critical," says Sue Liddie, CIO, Avon.
