Huawei's Storage Arrays for the OceanStor Solutions Passes vSphere 6.0 Certifications
FREMONT, CA: Huawei, a provider of information and communications technology (ICT) solutions, announces that the Huawei OceanStor converged storage portfolio including the 18000 series, V3 series, Dorado series and VIS series has been certified for VMware vSphere 6.0 virtual platform and Virtual Volumes (VVOL).
Huawei's storage arrays for the OceanStor solutions have passed the required vSphere 6.0 certifications, which enables VMware vSphere Storage APIs for Array Integration (VAAI) for Block, VAAI for Network Attached Storage (VAAI NAS), Pluggable Storage Architecture (PSA), and Site Recovery Manager (SRM).
With the achievement of certification for VVOL, Huawei's OceanStor storage platform allows granularity and flexibility in how storage is consumed by virtual environments.
Huawei OceanStor solutions for the VMware vSphere 6.0 platform comes with a host of advantages such as an optimized path management policy, more flexible networking and higher return on investment.
