IBM Procures Clearleap, Makes Video a Strategic Source of Enterprise Data
ARMONK, NY: In order to make video as the source of business intelligence for enterprises, IBM acquires Clearleap, provider of cloud based video services, to provide secure and reliable cloud based video services to enterprises with its enhanced IBM cloud services.
To manage and monetize user video experiences and deliver them over the web and mobile devices, Clearleap will be integrated into the IBM Cloud. IBM will add video to the increasing list of data sources used for business intelligence with an aim to develop video as a revenue source on its cloud platform to deliver webcasts, training and education.
Clearleap video platform brings an end to end and modular approach allowing organizations to present their service as per their requirement. It allows its clients to support their special events with massive scalability. Additionally, Clearleap’s API framework allows organizations to build videos into applications ranging from advanced analytics to custom workflows. Also, it allows organizations to provide multi screen video experience due to its Data Centers that host video assets.
IBM Cloud services will now offer Clearleap’s video services that will enable technical support for problem identification and resolution capabilities. Users will now be able to share data and content globally across various hybrid clouds securely.
