IBS Collaborates with Optricity to Improve Warehouse Operations in the American Region
FREMONT, CA: International Business Systems (IBS), a provider of integrated ERP, Warehouse Management System (WMS) and supply chain management solutions, partners with Optricity Corporation (Optricity), a provider of Workplace Optimization software, to boost efficiency and improve ROI for the warehousing market in the American region. As part of the partnership, IBS's warehouse management and enterprise systems will be integrated into Optricity's slotting software.

IBS’s Dynaman is an advanced software application suite for Distribution and Wholesale operations that controls the movement and storage of materials within a warehouse and processes the associated transactions, including shipping, receiving, put-away and picking. It ensures strict process control, accurate data capturing and provides complete visibility across manufacturing and distribution boundaries. In addition to this, the software also provides real-time visibility across the organization, be it vendor managed inventory, supply-in-line sequence or reverse logistics.

OptiSlot DC, Optricity’s slotting software, addresses the complexities like guesswork, paper-based calculations, spreadsheets, and outdated slotting methodologies that hinders slotting initiatives. It allows organizations to compare operational goal achievement and financial return for each scenario for simplifying slotting process and for doing so it uses advanced mathematical algorithms, physical characteristics of the environment, pick path and material handling equipment, and operational goals like pallet building, seasonality requirements and retail groupings.
