ICC Introduces ICC Alpha - the New Array of Overclocked Financial Servers

FREMONT, CA: International Computer Concepts (ICC), a systems integrator of enterprise-level computing solutions, recently disclosed the release of ICC Alpha—a new line of overclocked servers. These systems were designed from the ground up by a dedicated in-house overclocking team, keeping in mind the high sequential processing speed requirement of high-frequency trading (HFT) applications. Being developed after testing and selecting multiple memory kits to deliver the highest bandwidth and lowest latency possible, the systems offer speed: pure processing power. Several enhancements have been embedded in the BIOS, OS, and hardware for minimum jitter and maximum performance.

Customers can enjoy a fully customized solution by associating with BIOS engineers, who tailor ICC Alpha systems according the unique needs of each customer’s applications. “Our HFT customers are seeking absolutely the fastest possible processing available on the market to run their financial applications,” observes ICC’s Director of Development Alexey Stolyar. “ICC Alpha allows, in an unprecedented way, for trading firms to stay ahead of the competition in an industry where nanoseconds could mean the difference between loss and significant profit.”

The ICC Alpha line of overclocked servers are designed to complement the company’s existing ICC Vega line, which also delivers the best speeds for sequential processing. However, there is a difference of cooling solution and the clock speeds that can be attained. Both ICC Vega and ICC Alpha integrate custom cooling technology. However, ICC Alpha, as the premium offering, exhibits unprecedented cooling in the server space and can surpass the clock speeds of the ICC Vega overclocked servers.

Each one of these systems comes standard with 4x 2.5” SATA drive support, 2x16 PCIe 3.0 full profile slots, and a 4000 W shared power supply (208-240 V).
