REDWOOD CITY, CA: In a move to make homes more secure and protected, Icontrol Networks, a company that provides home security devices, has recently collaborated with Bezeq, a telecommunications group. Icontrol has deployed its product Piper with Bhome, a comprehensive smart home by Bezeq.

Bhome, based on Piper, is a Wi-Fi enabled device that enables people to manage and connect with their home and allows them to monitor and automate video from their mobile devices. It’s an All-In-One Home Security System that combines panoramic video, Z-Wave home automation and environmental sensors.

“Bezeq’s research found that, like the U.S. consumers, a majority of Israeli residents are interested in automating their home. Our partnership with Bezeq brings Icontrol’s smart home technology to a region of the world where, up until this point, it was unaffordable. We’re one step closer to making smart home technology accessible for everyone, everywhere,” says Bob Hagerty, CEO, Icontrol Networks.

The major advantages of Bhome include security that allows to customize three security modes (home, away, vacation), motion detector and piercing through a 105-decibel siren, night vision that gets activated automatically once the room starts getting dark, customized alerts through text messages or emails which one will get when their home is at danger, and environmental sensors which controls and monitor home temperature, humidity, ambient light and sound. It also features smart hardware with ARM processor, battery backup, internal memory for video storage, 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi, android and iOS support, two-way audio system that allows to talk to occupants through its app on mobile device and bedside mode with an active panic button that lets users manually turn on a siren in case of an emergency.
