Idaho Adopts NIC's eGovExpress Digital Wallet Simplifies Payment

BOISE, ID: Idaho Department of Agriculture adopts a digital wallet for convenient electronic payments via eGovExpress offered by Access Idaho, an affiliate of NIC.

NIC provides official government websites, online services, and secure payment processing solutions. Through technology, the service makes government transactions easily accessible to everyone. The secured service is provided to all the government entities partnering with NIC. The partners from other states are also eligible to implement the service.

The service aids customer to reduce their manual effort by consolidating Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express into one password protected online location, refraining them from using multiple accounts. eGovExpress also enables customers to view their transaction history, make mobile payments, update and delete payment methods, create custom note to a dashboard and receive notifications on existing accounts.

Internet helps government’s financial officers to obtain transaction reports from mobile and computer devices. The transactions are password protected and are transmitted through a secure connection.

Idaho Department of Agriculture and Access Idaho work under a self-funded model where no tax dollars or state funds are required to run the service. Idaho.gov, the official web portal of the state is governed by Access Idaho, which is specialized in electronic government applications. Access Idaho payment engine is created for government use and processes more than 20 billion dollars annually.
