Indico Announces Updates to its Indico IPA Software Platform

FREMONT, CA: Indico, a provider of intelligent process automation for document-based workflow intake, comprehension, and automation, announced major improvements to its award-winning Indico IPA software platform. The updates demonstrate the platform’s expanded deployment for enterprise use cases, including expanded RPA integrations, new industry-specific ACORD type support, improved scalability, and expert implementation support services.

The Indico’s IPA platform addresses a growing problem for businesses attempting to automate workflows involving vast volumes of unstructured material, such as documents, emails, text, and photographs. It uses a specific implementation of a validated AI approach called Transfer Learning, which allows business users to more efficiently deploy AI to unstructured enterprise content while removing many of the traditional adoption barriers. As a result, users can automate essential business functions by performing custom classification, extraction, and transformation tasks on unstructured content.
A large customer is using the Indico IPA Platform to scale its billing workflow, which involves analyzing and matching field images with service agreements to assess monthly customer billing rates. To determine billing rates, the company could extract key images, identify them, and compare them to service level agreements. As a result, the company’s processing volume increased from 1.5 to 90 million products per month, enabling it to meet its throughput requirements without incurring additional operating costs.
Key enhancements to the Indico IPA Platform comprise:
Out of the Box Integrations-With this version of Indico IPA, customers can now unlock out-of-the-box integrations with leading RPA solutions such as UiPath, BluePrism, and Automation Anywhere. Microsoft Power Automate and Salesforce Lightning Flow will be included in a future update.
Industry Applications-With the deployment of out-of-the-box support for Acord forms, Indico has added the first of several expected industry-specific applications. Indico can now identify an Acord type submission and extract all relevant data from it, producing a structured output that can be processed by customers’ downstream platforms and data stores.
Platform Throughput-The Indico IPA platform’s document processing throughput has been increased to support enterprise-scale customers. Indico effectively scaled from 1.5 million to over 90 million products per month for one customer with no performance degradation. Indico’s cloud-native container-based architecture allows for easy capacity expansion to meet increasing document processing demands. New auto-scaling capabilities, which increase/decrease compute infrastructure as needed to reduce hosting environment costs when capacity is not necessary, are among the enhancements.
Platform Administration-Significant improvements in security and user management have been made, making the platform simpler to handle for large organizations. The Indico IPA Platform’s system performance metrics provide insight into the compute workload being processed. The platform’s Single Sign-On (SSO) capabilities have been expanded to now support SSO groups from the client’s Active Directory. The application’s expansion of responsibilities and permissions allows for a hierarchical role-based approach to platform management as well as license use reporting.
Workflow Analytics-A robust collection of workflow analytics is a key feature of this new platform update. Customers can now access an interactive dashboard that includes accurate reporting on any deployed workflow, such as items handled, time in queue, time on task, field-level accuracy, and more. Customers can now measure the ROI and time savings provided by the Indico IPA Platform using the new analytics suite.
Expert Support Services-Indico has developed a new service discipline to provide ongoing assistance to customers. The subscription services, which are divided into product categories, assist customers in integrating, optimizing, and managing their Indico IPA instance for maximum value and efficiency.
