Industrial Inspection & Analysis Announces Acquisition of Atlas Inspection Technologies
The US-based company Industrial Inspection and Analysis, Inc. is planning to expand its service offerings after it announced its recent acquisition of Atlas Inspection Technologies, Inc.
Atlas Technologies is a defense and Space company that offers IT, information assurance, and virtualization solutions to ensure the safety of their customers. It provides answers to clients in petroleum refining, power generation, pipeline and other industries that require unparalleled environment control, reliability, and safety.
Industrial Inspection & Analysis is an emerging, high growth inspection and analytical business which seeks to build a national platform to serve numerous industrial sectors with solutions even in the most challenging situations. IIA also says that the acquisition of like-minded businesses has always been a priority with an aim to focus on organic growth across all the operating units in the long run.
Harold Queen, President, and COO of IIA state that the acquisition of Atlas’s remote visual inspection capabilities is providing a world-class experience to its customers. It results in reduced downtime and simultaneously limits the professionals’ direct exposure to hazardous environments. This acquisition states IIA’s continued evaluation of the best technologies and methodologies available to fulfill the commitment of superior quality service to its customers.
Founded in 2003, Darren Billings, CEO of Atlas Inspection Technologies said that he is waiting for this merger to witness the changes that will be brought in by the staff of their company with IIA’ support. He believes that this acquisition will benefit the customers with excellent service to which they were accustomed before.
IIA is known for the most comprehensive portfolios available in the testing and inspection services. Moreover, with the acquisition of Atlas, it is serving as a great addition to IIA’s field services group, which is the market leader in Radiographic Testing, which includes US NDI, Fox NDE, and Eagle NDT.
