FREMONT, CA: InEight, a software solutions provider firm for the project driven enterprises, has launched InfinyD v1.5, an advanced version of their unified and open visual platform that reinforces 3D project models with appropriate data throughout the project lifecycle to enhance visibility, control, and efficiency.

Along with 3D and 4D project models, InfinyD also manages the project-driven firms to integrate divergent data created during project implementation. InfinyD consolidates those data by adding new features to the model entities, like inspection reports, documentation and furthermore.  Another advantage of using InfinyD is that it is designed according to the Industry Foundation Class (IFC) standards that are managed by buildingSMART International that ensures the ownership of customer files.

“Across the project lifecycle, the InfinyD model can be enriched with data from cost, schedule, and other project systems, while key processes, such as procurement, are optimized for time and cost savings,” says Bill Ponseti, President, and CEO, InEight.

InfinyD Version 1.5 is built with user-driven advancements that enable latest time saving process and easy adaptation. The collaboration of MobilyD and InfinyD generates a connected state between all sections of the InfinyD project platform. Some of the essential information like incomplete inspections or installation status can be managed and organized in InfinyD and it can be leveraged at any construction stage with the help of Apple iPad. The connected state provides an efficient way to the project managers for getting progress and status report of the work done while decreasing the threats and lost time-related to the redundant data entry.

The updated version enables clients to access data from remote locations. Custom Data Operations provides the capability to establish project model collected from different designed products. ODBC Capability works for easy creation of bi-directional links to incorporate data efficiently into the whole project model. Trend Reports are used for tracking of the data and model to measure progress and make better decision. Integration of InEight with SAP business suite provides the connectivity to the Primavera P6 that helps  to reduce risk along with measuring cross system efficiency. InfinyD is building on the well-known application, SAP 3D Visual Enterprise to improve model integrity and performance.
