INetU Selects InfiniBox to Enhance Storage with Speedy Deployments
FREMONT, CA: With the growing storage requirements of organizations, the need for high performance storage systems has also risen. As a provider of cloud hosting and security services, INetU chooses INFINIDAT’s InfiniBox, in order to provide a scalable storage solution to their users.
Based on INFINIDAT Storage Architecture, InfiniBox delivers high performance throughput and low latency along with data protection. Some of the features that InfiniBox offer are double parity RAID, comprehensive end to end data verification and data distribution architecture. It can resolve Data Center footprint constraints with 2PB of usable capacity in a standard 42U rack. Additionally, it integrates with other environments like VMware and OpenStack offering a number of solutions. With a user friendly HTML-5 GUI, the system is designed for modern workloads by delivering SAN, NAS and object storage all under one roof.
INetU installs InfiniBox to provide a shared SAN option with a faster provisioning, flexibility to cater to the storage needs of enterprises and eliminates the dependence on multiple hardware installations and processes.
“We found that the InfiniBox outperformed every other spinning disk and hybrid solution we tested. Most impressive is that the InfiniBox performance was near that of an all-flash array in many benchmarks and at a fraction of the cost per GB. We conducted numerous failure tests, ranging from taking out a node to pulling multiple disks, and the InfiniBox didn’t blink an eye,” says Andrew Hodes, CTO, INetU.
