Infiniti Red Bull Racing and Siemens Extend Partnership to Streamline Workflows
FREMONT, CA: In the world of car racing where speed is of utmost importance, it is necessary for automotive industries to create efficient designs to meet the standards of sports. To this end, Infiniti Red Bull Racing extends its partnership with its technology partner Siemens for three more years, in order to continue using its PLM software for digital product design and manufacturing.
Infiniti Red Bull Racing incorporated Siemens’ NX software for the digital realization of car design. The NX software is an integrated product that offers design, engineering and manufacturing solution to deliver better results efficiently and quickly. It features advanced solutions for conceptual design, 3D modeling; multi discipline simulation for structural, motion, thermal applications and complete manufacturing solutions for tooling, machining and quality inspection.
Infiniti Red Bull Racing uses Siemens’ PLM software for design, manufacturing and workflow management and ongoing services for workflow management starting from technical office to the assembly bays. The software allows Infiniti to keep track of car development and bill of material management to the efficiency of manufacturing.
