PALO ALTO, CA: Software technology provider, Infosys announces the collaboration of its product subsidiary Finacle with Payveris, an online and mobile digital payments company. This integration jointly provides payment solutions to banks and credit unions.
Finacle, a part of EdgeVerve systems- the product arm of Infosys, is a core banking software package. It is used by multiple banks across several countries, and is capable of handling multi-currency transactions. The partnership will primarily focus on facilitating bill payments and innovative money movement services such as interbank transfers and person to person payments.
As per the deal, the core banking system will be integrated with Payveris’ modular, open API-driven digital Payments Platform to offer cloud-based banking services to the community of financial institutions. Capitalizing on this solution, banking sectors can boost agility and efficiency of operation, further accelerate growth and improve customer experience across channels.
Commenting on the partnership, Michael Reh, Executive Vice President of EdgeVerve says, “We believe that our partnership with Payveris will strengthen our value proposition and enable our clients to delight their customers with innovation and seamless payment experiences.”
This commercial pact is expected to strengthen Infosys’ core banking, e-banking and mobile banking offerings in U.S. through the addition of Payveris digital payment capability.
