Intapp Releases Dual Cloud and On Premises Product
FREMONT, CA: Early this year, Intapp, a software and services provider for professional services firms entered into the cloud space by acquiring Rekoop, a UK based cloud software provider. In an interview with Legal IT Insider, Don Coleman, COO at Intapp remarked during the acquisition announcement, “We want to make sure that we are both in the cloud and offering choice for customers not ready for the cloud. Firms are at different stages in their adoption cycle and we want to provide a best-in-class solution whatever stage they’re at.” Approximately two months after the acquisition Intapp has launched its first dual on premises and cloud-based product.
Deployable on premises or in the cloud the product can be availed as a standalone system, or integrated with the Intapp Open business acceptance suite; the option of integrating with third party products is also available on the product, which can be achieved via application programming interfaces (APIs).
Intapp Open terms management system mitigates risks for law firms by centralizing outside counsel guidelines, engagement letters and other client requirement documents, making it easier for firms to access, view, analyze and take action on their most critical client commitments.
Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe, an international law firm is implementing Intapp’s solutions which include cloud-based Intapp Open terms management system.
Coleman added, “In the very long term we believe most software will be delivered via the cloud but in the mid-term many firms will prefer on premises solutions for security and control reasons. We will continue to innovate in our on-premises solution but will also have a solution for firms ready to take that step.”
