iTAC Collaborates with OpenText for Enhanced Data Visualization
FREMONT, CA: iTAC Software AG has recently implemented OpenText, provider of Enterprise Information Management, to provide enhanced data visualization capabilities to its manufacturing software solutions.
In order to handle the humongous amounts of data generated in manufacturing, iTAC required a secure and effective solution to effortlessly produce customized reports, analysis and dashboards. The integration with iHub from OpenText Analytics into iTAC.MES Suite enables the data to be instantaneously analyzed and presented in a visually engaging and uncomplicated format. iHub makes it possible to display interactive visualizations in any application and device.
iTAC customers can now access and analyze large amounts of data centrally. They can also standardize, merge and analyze key performance indicators from different manufacturing plants, offering the ability to compare information across time periods and locations as needed with stringent, role-based security. Users can also develop appropriate metrics such as control levels, production, and outputs to identify areas for potential optimization, increased production efficiency, cost reduction and quality assurance.
In addition to the aforementioned features, iHub supports the IoT capabilities of the iTAC solutions, providing users with enhanced mobility, online availability and cloud functionality and helping manufacturing companies create smart factories and supply chains through computerization, resource efficiency and other technological advances.
Dieter Meuser, Chief Technology Officer at iTAC says, “With iHub from OpenText Analytics, our customers can produce attractive, compelling visualizations in no time from a variety of application data.”
