Jarno LimnA Appointed CEO of IoT Infrastructure Security Firm Tosibox
Oulu, Finland - IoT infrastructure security firm Tosibox Oy of Finland today announces the appointment of world-renowned cyber security expert Jarno Limn©ll as its new Chief Executive Officer. In his new role, Limn©ll’s mission is to lead the drive for Tosibox’s unique remote connection technology to become the de facto standard for secure Internet of Things (IoT) infrastructures in network management.
“Clearly, Tosibox is delighted to welcome Jarno Limn©ll as its new CEO,” says Markku Tapio, Chairman of the Board of Tosibox Oy. “He brings with him an impressive track record of developing the businesses of high technology firms and is now responsible for the dramatic growth Tosibox expects through its unique IoT security solutions.”
“This is the greatest challenge in my career and I’m humbled to be given the opportunity to run a company that is well-positioned for future growth in global Internet of Things markets,” adds Jarno Limn©ll. “The digitalizing IoT world needs high-quality and user-friendly security solutions that only Tosibox supplies.”
Limn©ll is a world-renowned cyber security expert. Prior to joining Tosibox, he was Director of Cyber Security at the technology firms Insta Group, McAfee and Stonesoft. Limn©ll holds a position as professor of cyber security at the Aalto University of Helsinki as well as professorships at three other universities.
Tosibox is a Finnish success story founded on the belief that “If a tourist can fly across oceans without knowing anything about airplanes, why can’t people enjoy the benefits of technology without having an IT degree?”
With double digit revenue growth each year, Tosibox holds the view that secure remote access of devices to the Internet need not to be complicated, expensive or time-consuming.
Tosibox developed and patented the world’s first remote access device with Plug & Go™ technology. It sold its first device into Finland in 2012 and then quickly expanded into other markets with the launch of three subsidiaries in Germany, Scandinavia and the USA. Tosibox products are now sold across Europe, North America, Asia, the Middle East and Australia.
An example of how Tosibox delivers new innovative solutions to the secure IoT markets is the recent launch of the Lock 500 solution with a unique data encryption capacity designed for demanding industrial environments and security and office networking sectors.
