JITC Certification Offered to GENBAND and Polycom Helps in Migration of Legacy Communication Networks
ORLANDO, FL: GENBAND, has been awarded with the certification by the Joint Interoperability Test Command (JITC) of the U.S. Defense Information Systems Agency ("JITC") for their GENBAND Application Server solution, and the Polycom VVX voice and video portfolio services. GENBAND is a provider of communications software solutions, and the combined solution has been approved as a Local Session Controller for deployment in the United States Department of Defense (DoD) communications networks. The solution offers military-level resiliency combined with standards-based SIP-session control to meet the massive deployment needs.
Reliability standards meeting requirements established for mission critical voice communications can be realized utilizing the Polycom VVX series business media phones. VVX phones are powered by technologies such as Polycom HD Voice, with HD video and application capabilities that drive productivity for customers. Echo cancellation and the Polycom Acoustic Fence background noise cancelling technology, featured in the VVX series helps in enhancing communication experience.
