JOIN Experience Combines VMware NSX with its SDN Data Center to Deliver 4G Service
PALO ALTO, CA: VMware announces that JOIN Experience, a telecom service provider, will be using VMware NSX network virtualization platform for software defined data center to deliver 4G services and cloud infrastructure to its customers.
VMware NSX will help service providers develop and scale Machine-to-Machine (M2M), Mobile Virtual Network Operator (MVNO) and other enterprise cloud service solutions. JOIN, the third generation telecom operator, will now be able to build entire infrastructures based on VMware solutions and network virtualization with VMware NSX. By deploying software-defined data center with VMware new platform, JOIN makes its environment flexible, adaptable and future-proof based on the customer demands and market dynamics.
With this new VMware NSX, JOIN can automate the provisioning of new services for customers that enhances their time to value. JOIN also will able to overcome the limitations of traditional hardware-defined networking by improving manual provisioning, operations and reducing high overhead costs.
Additionally, VMware NSX provides value-added security services for customers and utilizes the advantages of platform’s micro-segmentation capabilities. JOIN develops its infrastructure with VMware NSX partner ecosystem, receiving interoperability service from security and networking partners including Trend Micro and Juniper Networks.
