FREMONT, CA: In order to cater to the growing demands of carriers for greater bandwidth and efficient technology for managing burgeoning mobile traffic, Juniper Networks announces ACX500 router and ACX5000 router along with enhancements in Junos Space Network Management Platform software. These solutions deliver on executing small cell backhaul and Carrier Ethernet deployments through integration of physical infrastructure with virtual services.

ACX500 is designed to meet the capacity challenges in LTE networks. It features GPS receiver to curtail the dropped calls, improve location-based services, and enhance video streaming even when on the move. It comes with extensible and customizable service options and is available for both indoor and outdoor use.

ACX5000 is the Carrier Ethernet router designed to deliver virtualization functions across the network.
