Kiosk Software Maker KioWare Bags GSA Schedule Contract

By CIOReview | Wednesday, April 16, 2014

FREMONT, CA: KioWare, the maker of the security software to manage interactive kiosks, has recently received General Services Administration (GSA) Information Technology Schedule 70 Contract (IT Schedule) through which the customers can now easily purchase its kiosk lockdown solutions.

KioWare’s GSA IT Schedule can be utilized by federal, state, and local buyers can get company’s kiosk software solutions at pre-negotiated pricing, terms and conditions.

The KioWare software products lock down devices into kiosk mode, which secures the overall operating system, home screen and usage of applications. In parallel to its alternate name ‘wrapper’, KioWare restricts access within a device and turns the device into a secured, self-service kiosk.  KioWare product lines range from basic browser lockdown to server-based remote monitoring, with software that works on both the Windows and Android OS. KioWare’s clients are the U.S. Air Force, Coast Guard, Army Reserves, and Army Corps of Engineers, Department of State, and more than 50 cities and counties nationwide.

“KioWare’s success in the marketplace can be attributed to our high commitment to customer service. We pride ourselves on listening and acting on customer feedback. Typically this translates into new software features.  However, as we expanded into the federal market we learned our customers valued the ability to purchase through GSA Schedule Contracts because of the amount of time they saved during the procurement process,” says Jim Kruper, President of Analytical Design Solutions.
