KODAK Design2Launch Business acquired by BLUE Software
FREMONT, CA: In a major announcement made by BLUE Software, developers of BLUE, it was publicized that the firm has acquired The Eastman Kodak Company’s Design2Launch software and services business. BLUE Software is the leader in Brand Lifecycle Management (BLM) software-as-a-service (SaaS) and will solidify its dominance in pharmaceutical, consumer products, retail and industrial chemical sectors with this addition.
Kodak Design2Launch is a leading provider of Brand Graphics Management technology and will now be a part of BLUE Software’s ongoing growth and expansion strategy. “We are very pleased to welcome the Design2Launch team, customers and partners to BLUE. This recent acquisition demonstrates the continuing growth and technology innovation commitment BLUE has made to customers as this is the 2nd acquisition made by the firm and its financial partner Diversis Capital in 2016. D2L will be integrated with the existing operations of BLUE Software which will include all of D2L’s technology, IP, customer contracts and employees. This combination will create one of the largest skilled software development and services organizations as a best of breed approach for pharmaceutical, consumer goods, and retail will; be brought together.
