Konica Launches Services to Meet BYOD Challenges

RAMSEY, NJ: To make businesses hassle-free and challenge the issues related to Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) trend, Konica Minolta has recently delivered two new suites of services- EveryonePrint, and All Covered’s Mobile Management Services.

EveryonePrint allows users to securely print from any device to any printer on a business’s network. Without any need for a mobile device to be added to a domain, it can be installed as an on-premise or cloud solution. It is a secure and easy-to-use device including the benefits of Authentication via Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP) or Active Directory (to ensure only authorized users can print), End-to-end encryption of print jobs, secure release of print jobs, IT administration full customization via a simple user interface, and integration with any printing infrastructure.

The product is available in four versions; the first one is standalone that allows printing from an unlimited number of mobile devices to a single printer. The second version is connect, which offers the same function as standalone but has an added t ability to integrate with a variety of print accounting solutions like Equitrac; third version is professional that includes Wide Area printing enabling users to use AirPrint across complex networks, and the last version is Enterprise, available as a site license with an unlimited amount of server and printer licenses. All the four versions give five different ways to print. They are via web, email, Google cloud, AirPrint, and Driver.

 On the other hand All Covered’s Mobile Management Services empowers the organizations that allow mobile users to connect to their networks and access sensitive data. The newly-launched device with the help of Mobile Management Services enables organizations to ensure that mobile devices connected to their network have access to the right resources with the right security in place. It features access control monitoring, application management and data protection by automatically separating the business and personal data, while keeping both equally accessible for employees and other users.
