Nashville, TN & Rochester, NY: XOEye Technologies, a pioneer company in industrial grade wearable technology solutions; and Vuzix Corporation, a holder of 41 patents in the video eyewear field, winner of CES (Consumer Electronic Show) awards for innovation for 2005 to 2015 and supplier of video eyewear and smart glasses in consumer and enterprise market; have announced roll-out of wearable technology with Lee Company, a facilities solutions and home services company. Vuzix, XOEye and Lee Company will be at CES 2016 this week in Las Vegas for showcasing the solution in booth #14048 in the Central Hall of the Las Vegas Convention Center.

At the outset, XOEye is supplying Lee Company with 500 Vuzix M100 Smart Glasses, combined with XOEye’s custom applications such as telepresence and cloud based Vision® platform primarily for the field service technicians and internal stakeholders. The solution helps in real-time communication, lends access to subject matter experts, issues attachable video to electronic service tickets, provides more transparency to the customers, and finally gives workflow enhancements for Lee Company’s internal and field service teams.

Lee Company’s service support library is internally sharing the videos and data collected from the field technicians. Training hours are ameliorating and employees are being equipped with important information so they can complete jobs in timely manner, ultimately saving significant man-hours every week.

"XOEye's wearable solutions and data analytics and Vuzix' M100 Smart Glasses have transformed the way our field service personnel interact with each other and our customers every day across all critical service sectors including hospitals and other 24/7 critical companies who require quick resolve and cannot tolerate extended downtime due to lengthy and costly repair times," said Richard Perko, President of Lee Company.

"Our partnership with XOEye continues to advance with successful smart glasses implementations with progressive companies like Lee Company who are a great example of how wearables are operationally transforming the enterprise," said Paul Travers, President and Chief Executive Officer of Vuzix. "We're excited to be a partner in their continued success."
