Lee Valley Tools Introduces New Mobile Shopping Tool
Lee Valley’s mobile feature is easy to operate as clients do not need to download anything on their mobile devices. Instead, they visit LeeValley.com when they arrive at the physical store, click on the barcode icon, choose their store location, and begin shopping.
Over the past six months, Lee Valley Tools has endorsed various in-store safety procedures based on public health officials' supervision, including obligatory mask or face coverings, offering hand sanitizer, and encouraging physical distancing protocols in an exertion to uphold customer health and security. With the evolution from express to curbside pick-up, Lee Valley transitioned its stores to be safe and accessible. The introduction of the new mobile feature carries a supplemented level of protection to the in-store shopping experience.
"The health and safety of our customers and staff is our number one priority and our new easy-to-use mobile feature provides another layer of protection while shopping in-store during these unprecedented times," said Jason Tass, Chief Operating Officer, Lee Valley Tools. "We're thrilled to launch this mobile tool in all our stores across Canada to give our customers a user-friendly way of making the browsing and purchase process contactless."
The mobile feature is easy to operate as clients do not need to download anything on their mobile devices. Instead, they visit LeeValley.com when they arrive at the physical store, click on the barcode icon, choose their store location, and begin shopping. The online feature also facilitates customers to scan an item's bar code and see a full description of each product presented by Lee Valley Tools before deciding to purchase–from drills to dovetail saws.
Additionally, the tool provides an entirely contactless shopping experience. It concedes for no physical products to be touched in the store and an effortless checkout process. Lee Valley's latest innovation intends to make customers comfortable shopping in-store while warranting consumer and staff safety at all times.
