Leonardo and Sabre Hospitality Solutions Expand Agreement for Managing Visual Content
FREMONT, CA: Marketers dealing in the travel sector find it a real daunting task to manage visual content across multiple disparate systems for distribution to proprietary systems, third party technology vendors and travel websites. Leonard Worldwide Corporation, a technology company for the global hospitality industry has announced a renewed and expanded agreement with Sabre Hospitality Solutions to resolve the above discussed situation. As a part of this agreement, hotel customers will be provided with end-to-end hotel media management and technology solution for storage, processing, hosting and servicing of visual content.
John McAuliffe, President, Leonardo announced “We’re thrilled to strengthen our relationship with Sabre Hospitality Solutions and provide marketers in the travel sector with a solution to the complex challenge of utilizing multiple systems for their media management. Utilizing our technology will provide Sabre’s hospitality customers with a central content system to manage the visual content in their online marketing channels.”
Due to availability of a seamless hotel content management solution, it becomes easier to source and manage visual content across multiple applications for hotel online marketing efforts. This in return reduces workload, overhead cost, and synchronization errors which is usually a ‘part and parcel’ of media management across multiple systems. Subscription to Premium or Enterprise versions of Leonardo’s VScape Hotel Digital Asset Management System allows hotel customers to manage their visual content in either the Sabre’s SynXis Central Reservations or in Leonardo’s VScape Platform. This also simplifies the access to content for use in applications such as their hotel website booking engine. The highlighting feature of the platform is in its ability to eliminate the repetitive tasks of managing content in separate applications and databases, while providing advanced enterprise-level technology for image management.
The agreement is inclusive of some expanded connectivity and distribution capabilities as Sabre Hospitality Solutions plans to upgrade to VScape Standard for hotel customers. Clients will be able to enhance the quality and quantity of visual content, as they can manage the distribution to third-party travel websites in Leonardo’s VNetwork.
“We’re delighted to develop our long-standing partnership with Leonardo. By leveraging Leonardo’s technology solutions, we can provide our customers with a complete technology platform to streamline their workflow and image management to provide an outstanding guest experience,” said Paolo Torchio, Vice President, Product Management, Sabre Hospitality Solutions.
