FREMONT, CA: At the AIconics Awards ceremony at the AI Summit New York, Lirio, a leading behavior change AI company that utilizes Precision Nudging to shift individuals to positive health outcomes, was awarded Best AI Startup. Lirio was recognized as Highly Applauded for Best Invention in Deep Learning in the Alconics Awards ceremony. AI Summit is the world's leading series of events concentrating on business AI.

"We are deeply honored to receive the AIconics Award for Best AI Startup," said Mike West, Lirio's CEO, in accepting the award. "We consider this a validation of our purpose to combine the power of behavioral science and artificial intelligence to drive positive behavior change for the betterment of all people."

Now in its fourth year, the AIconics Awards recognize the exceptional accomplishments of individuals, projects, teams, and their organizations responsible for groundbreaking developments in the space of Business Artificial Intelligence. Transformational technologies from past winners such as IBM Watson, Microsoft, Blue Prism, PwC, and DarkTrace are showcased in the global awards.

As demonstrated by the 14 companies that made the shortlist for the category, AIconics received hundreds of submissions for their awards, and Best AI Startup was the most successful. By comparison, Lirio was the only company to gain recognition, basically an honorable mention, as Highly Commended for Best Advancement in Deep Learning. With its novel adaptive stochastic gradient-free approach, the latter award honored Lirio's advancement in machine learning optimization.

"Working at Lirio is a blessing in part because the company is filled with people looking to make a positive impact on the world, "said Chris Symons, chief AI scientist. "The focus of our AI work is driven by the need to overcome challenges and improve our applications of AI in the real world.
