Liveswitch Names Anton Venema Chief Technology Innovation Officer And Ken Bergmann Chief Technology Officer

Surrey, BC and Raleigh, NC, - LiveSwitch, a leading provider of technology that enables businesses to incorporate live, interactive video, announced the appointment of LiveSwitch Co-Founder Anton Venema to the role of chief technology innovation officer (CTIO) and Ken Bergmann to the role of chief technology officer (CTO).

In the role of chief technology innovation officer, Anton Venema will lead the technology vision and innovation across the organization, and as chief technology officer, Ken Bergmann will steer the company’s product development organization.

Anton Venema founded LiveSwitch alongside his brother Jerod in 2008 and is widely regarded as a real-time and WebRTC communications expert. Before taking on the role of CTIO, he served as chief technology officer and has more than a decade of experience designing, building and scaling real-time enterprise solutions.

Also an accomplished technologist, Ken Bergmann has extensive experience in the architecture, implementation and operation of large-scale, high-availability software applications across a variety of industries. Prior to joining LiveSwitch, Bergmann held technical leadership roles at K2 (now Nintex), CBRE, Greyhound, Sony and Microsoft, where he built Visual Studio.

In addition to his experience in architecture and development, Bergmann brings to LiveSwitch a deep background in top-tier consulting with Accenture, Capgemini and Microsoft Consulting Services, and executive management experience, including significant P&L responsibility, across different organizational structures.
