PORTSMOUTH, NH: Loftware, an Enterprise Labeling Solution announces the latest release of Loftware Spectrum 2.7- a browser based Enterprise labeling solution to address complex labeling requirements of large organizations.
The main features of Loftware Spectrum 2.7 include: facilitates 21 CFR Part 11 compliance, eSignature capabilities, tags for objects to simplify label management, flexible business rules engine, sophisticated device management, and unsurpassed visibility to label printing. This solution mainly serves food& beverage industry, pharmaceutical companies, chemical industries and medical devices.
Spectrum 2.7 enables users to define number of workflow steps that can now be controlled by an eSignature. This in turn allows FDA (Food and Drug Administration) to use electronic record and eSignature, instead of paper records and handwritten signatures. eSignatures work within Spectrum’s Application Architect which helps users to create and manage complex applications. Additionally it provides users with on-demand printing and preview results via Loftware Spectrum’s native printer drivers to ensure accuracy and minimize labeling errors.
“Medical device and pharmaceutical companies have the unique challenge of meeting complex regulatory labeling requirements while operating in a validated environment,” says Josh Roffman, Loftware Vice President of Product Management.
