Lumenera Unifies with BioBus; Provides Superior Imaging Experience to Foster Science Among Youth
OTTAWA, ON: In an effort to elevate the students learning experience to a new level Lumenera Corporation, manufacturers of high performance digital cameras and custom image solutions finalizes a deal with BioBus, the mobile microscope laboratory that focuses at engaging students in a knowledgeable ride with hands-on scientific exploration.
Counting on the partnership with BioBus, Lumenera will be donating seven of its high performance, research grade microscopy cameras to be used on the BioBus. The list of cameras includes INFINITYHD, the INFINITY2-1 R and the INFINITY3- 1URM, which are designed specifically for life science applications, including fluorescence imaging, and producing accurate high resolution images.
The INFINITY cameras will be decked up with the microscopes on the BioBus, subsequently allowing the students to capture lasting images from their experiments and discoveries utilizing a superior imaging solution.
BioBus, a diligent scientific research exhibitor will continue proactively participating in organizing events where students can use the phase-contrast video microscope to make movies of crawling amoeba or in case using the chance to scan electron microscope to image a fly eye, or for an instance like getting the opportunity to visualize glowing, streaming plant chloroplasts using a fluorescence microscope.
This new kind of library space will provide student access to modern science curricula and equipment under the guidance of real scientists as they visit schools and communities in New York City. In addition it will also allow scientists to share their expertise and knowledge through direct, hands-on experiences, allowing participants to reshape their view of science by taking part in the discovery process.
