Mainsaver to Provide Procurement Services to Northern Star Generation Services, LLC
SAN DIEGO, CA: Mainsaver Software, a provider of Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) solution, has announced that it has been selected by Northern Star Generation Services, LLC to manage maintenance and procurement processes at its Nevada Cogeneration Associates #1 facility, (NCA1). Mainsaver offers a complete EAM solution with a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) at its core.
“Our EAM solution is an integral component of an organization's comprehensive asset management strategy by its virtue of integrating key data throughout the enterprise," said Dave Shlager, President and CEO, Mainsaver.
Using Mainsaver’s solution, Northern Star will manage its work order processes and Preventive Maintenance Program. The company will also provide Northern Star with integrated materials and purchasing modules to simplify plant procurement. “We have interfaces to most of the ERP and financial systems and exchange data with major enterprise systems such as Oracle and SAP on a regular basis,” said Shlager.
Northern Star Generation Services, LLC, provides asset management, operations, and maintenance services to its parent company, Northern Star Generation (NSG). NSG owns and operates 7 privately held power generation plants across the United States and is poised to grow the portfolio further with the availability of acquisition opportunities.
