Marvell Adds SDK to its Microcontroller SoC; Boosts IoT Connectivity

SANTA CLARA, CA: Marvell, a provider of mobile connectivity solutions, announces an enhanced Marvell EZ-Connect family of Wireless Microcontroller system-on-chips (SoC) that includes expanded software offering and spectrum of partners’ products and services.

Marvell’s wireless microcontroller platform empowers new generation of IoT (Internet of Things) devices to communicate with cloud-services, mobile clients and other devices to deliver innovative services and applications to consumers.

The Marvell 88MW300/302 Wi-Fi Microcontroller system-on-chip (SoC) is a highly integrated low-power chip with a micro controller built using ARM Cortex-M4F CPU and 802.11 b/g/n WiFi is crafted to support specific needs of IoT applications. The microcontroller is supported by a software development kit that includes tools and documentation to help rapidly engineer connected devices, enabling developers to focus on features, services and applications of IoT product.

Marvell also announces a growing ecosystem of partners including IoT Cloud platform providers, wireless module suppliers, and engineering design houses. Marvell’s IoT ecosystem partners further facilitate and simplify the development of IoT products and provide OEMs with complementary products and services to develop their products.
