McDonald's Appoints Michelle Borninkhof as its New CIO
Michelle Borninkhof has recently been appointed as the new CIO of McDonald’s. She is a strategic and top-performing senior information technology executive and a corporate officer who has global experience in software development and implementations primarily. She has a Bachelor’s degree from Kansas State University and a Master’s degree from the University of Phoenix. Michelle started her career as an Assistant Store Manager, who managed the operations such as store replenishment, inventory control, pricing, store transitions, and store expenses. Additionally, she also tried her hand at ensuring the implementation of the company programs proficiently and timely, while also maintaining the company’s brand.
Apart from working in the Fast food industry, she has an expert hand in technology operations and multi-country and multi-site technology delivery centers as well. Michelle, in a nutshell, is a leader that brings a diverse business background with expertise in logistics, distribution, retail operations, and portfolio management. Before being appointed as the CIO of McDonald's, she harvested various skills through her IT leadership roles from her previous company, Walmart.
