Medidata Acquires Intelemage to Transform Clinical Image Sharing

The acquisition integrates InteleGRID platform with Medidata Clinical Cloud to offer customers with an end-to-end solution to capture, manage and analyze medical imaging data.

Medidata Clinical cloud is a SaaS platform providing mobile health solutions for clinical trials. To power Clinical data collaboration, AppConnect, a regulatory-compliant software development kit, helps clinicians to gather and process patient’s health related data. Medidata Clinical Cloud helps their customers to transform their clinical trials by eliminating redundant tasks, enhancing collaboration, improving decision making and reducing the total cost of clinical development. With its significant role in the clinical trial, Medidata technology has supported more than 11,000 clinical studies, 400,000 investigational sites and 2.8 million trial volunteers.

InteleGRID platform, aggregates clinical image and data management tools, within the users current solution and also allows real-time time access and distribution of data via a secure API. The Imaging technologies includes a zero-footprint image analysis tools, which allows clinicians to seamlessly capture data, streamline workflows and transfer imaging datasets securely. Without any inbound ports or special hardware, users from outside submit their images and clinical case data through a set of web upload tools to assess the effectiveness of therapies.
