WELLESLEY, MA: With an aim to support physician practices with their current transition to ICD-10, MedSafe, healthcare and compliance solutions provider, has introduced new program.

The International Classification of Diseases (ICD)-10 is a clinical cataloging system, which offers several more classification options compared to its predecessor ICD-9.

Under this program, healthcare organizations and workers get education and training based on best practices that are secured from falling into potentially costly non-compliance consequences. It also covers documentation, crosswalking and guidance and solves the issue in recovering lost revenue and time.

“Leveraging our 25-plus years of expertise in healthcare compliance, we are excited to offer healthcare providers a highly effective and adaptable program that will allow them to thrive within this new ICD-10 environment,” comments Christine Queally Foisey, CEO and President, MedSafe.

She adds, “Using a unique blend of proven methodologies, physician practices, healthcare organizations and medical clinics will be able to achieve compliance in addition to potentially recapturing lost revenue and time within a systematic and affordable framework.”

The new program by MedSafe helps doctors in maintaining their on-site evaluation capabilities. It also helps in streamlining the operations, solving the potential pitfalls with ICD-10 compliance and sustaining healthcare practices. In addition, it helps in effectively review and plot ICD-9 codes to ICD-10 options and gives specified and brief feedback on how current documentation needs must be reconfigured to meet the accurate and highly precise ICD-10 guidelines.
