Megaport Partners with Amsterdam Internet Exchange to Deliver Multi-cloud Connectivity

FREMONT, CA: Megaport Limited, a manufacturer of SDN-based neutral fabric, has announced that its U.S. subsidiary has entered into a strategic partnership with Amsterdam Internet Exchange (AMS-IX). Now, the company has become the elastic cloud interconnection partner for AMS-IX and in return, AMS-IX will deliver its Internet Exchange service in key Megaport-enabled markets around the world.

The joint venture combines Megaport’s elastic cloud interconnection services to AMS-IX markets that delivers a comprehensive collection of interconnection use-cases, consisting exchange of IP traffic “peering,” API-based ordering, multi-cloud connectivity, and right-sizing of capacity based on customer requirements.

Moreover, the partnership between the two enables customers to access AMS-IX peering service across the Megaport fabrics. AMS-IX’s customers get benefit from Megaport’s elastic connectivity solutions to network and cloud service providers.
