MercyRockford Teams-Up with Premier to Form Advanced Clinically Integrated Supply Chain

CHARLOTTE, NC:  MercyRockford Health System, a non-profit organization announces its collaboration with Premier, a cloud based ERP solution and consortium of approximately 3,600 U.S. hospitals and 120,000 other healthcare providers. Premier operates a group purchasing organization for hospitals and healthcare providers who are looking for contract opportunities and choice for a broad array of products and services.

This is a five year agreement between the companies which includes Premier’s group purchasing services and PremierConnect supply chain analytics. The partnership also allows MercyRockford to through technology-enabled supply chain and data management services.

PremierConnect supply chain is a purchase-to-pay analytics service suite which integrates, manages, and controls the entire procurement process of the client. It provides easy-to-use requisitioning, purchasing, fixed assets and general ledger capabilities with easy to integrate solution for all major EHR system. MercyRockford will operate Premier’s data-driven group purchasing services to minimize supply chain costs and drive value across its organization.
