MetTel to Deploy VMware for Leveraging VeloCloud Cloud-Delivered SD-WAN

FREMONT CA: Communication solution provider MetTel announces the deployment of its business partner VelCloud Networks’ technology - the VeloCloud Cloud-Delivered SD-WAN.   VeloCloud is characterized with its production-proven VMware vSphere platform, which works on the VMware vCloud NFV platform.

VeloCloud provides enterprise-grade, security and dependability for MetTel to control SD-WAN and bounded Internet solution through enterprise and cloud application. Working as a layer between the Internet and Hybrid links, VeloCloud Cloud-Delivered SD-WAN operates with ease and minimizes cost. vSphere as Network Functions Virtualization Infrastructure (NFVI) is used by MetTel to operate VeloCloud Gateways which is easily integrated with the MetTel private MPLS network and effectively increases Hybrid WAN solution for MetTel customers. MetTel is further planning to implement VMware AirWatch and Identity Manager in future for the mobility strategy and vision.
