Micron Launches New Version of SAS SSDs for Optimized Workload
BOISE, ID: To optimize the workload of customers, Micron Technologies, provider of semiconductor systems, launches new version of Statistical Analysis System (SAS) Solid State Drives (SSDs), called Micron S600DC SSD series. It fulfills the demand of customers who want availability of their business application, like data analytics, financial transactions and media streaming throughout without any hindrance.
With the launch of new portfolio of SAS SSDs, Micron is planning to offer IT managers a solution that gives consistent performance, better storage capacity, data availability and security. The new version is the result of integration of Micron Technologies with Seagate, which offers flash innovation and SAS expertise from both companies.
Apart from flash innovation and SAS expertise, S600DC SSD series features storage density with up to 4TB-class capacity in a 2.5-inch form factor, high-performance of the dual-port interface that can give up to 1,800MB/s sequential read performance or high data availability with failover redundancy. It also offers power loss protection and reliability, and superior data protection with multiple layers of security.
